The face on the Shroud of Turin in real A unique viewing experience
Ron Keas was a photographer in the Navy in 1963, where he learned how to photograph in 3-D. In the 90's he photographed American National Parks in 3-D, and sold stereographs with a prismatic lens stereoscopic viewer of his own design. He produced the first color stereographs of Dinosaur models in terrariums, and put them into a DVD slideshow with transition effects and background sounds. This slideshow was appreciated by Arthur C. Clarke, who became a friend of Rons over the internet. Arthur used to love to show the 3-D Dinosaur slideshow to the kids in Shri Lanka, where he lived. In the year 2000 Ron became the first person in the World to combine different angle views from the Mars rovers to make the first 3-D images posted on the internet. Now Ron has produced a 3-D anaglyph image of the face on the Shroud of Turin. When viewed with red and cyan 3-D glasses, you will see the face in real 3-D. This unique 3-D look at the face on the Shroud was made possible by combining two different computer generated angles of the face into one anaglyph 3-D image. This is the first time the face has been seen in this realistic way.
